The Northwest Passage Marathon, held annually at Arctic Watch, is the only marathon held in nunavut. For the past six years, runners from across the globe have joined us out on the tundra and along the Northwest Passage. The marathon has always been a labour of love for our family. We're an active family, that has always enjoyed giving 100%. Passionate to share this wonderful experience with people from around the world; nowhere else can one see polar bears, beluga whales, seals, birds, archeological sites and more... In just a short 50 kilometers!
I came across a short article from two participants of the 2012 Northwest Passage Marathon. On their goal to complete a marathon in every province, they joined us at Arctic Watch last summer. Attached below (click the image), the article gives a brief mention of the experience at Arctic Watch. Enjoy!
