Join us as we take to the air to see narwhals, beluga whales, walrus and polar bears—plus all the Arctic landforms, tundra and other attractions that must be reached by air. We’ll even have a chance to see a bowhead whale. Below is a list of destinations we plan to reach during the week.

Northwest Passage Marathon

July 09, 2012

The Northwest Passage Marathon on Somerset Island in Nunavut, Canada, is North America’s most northerly marathon and ultramarathon. This race is held under the 24-hour Arctic sun and against the backdrop of the fabled Northwest Passage.

During Mystic Week we will be hosting beulgua scientists from the Mystic Aquarium, North America's leading beluga whale research center. The scientists will start their beluga whale research program. Youth Leadership Program

August 03, 2012

This program will include not only backpacking, kayaking, rafting, exploring, participating in scientific research, and guiding but also a leadership-building curriculum designed to challenge the team and strengthen individuals. The program leader is a professional in the field of youth outdoor education.
